Senior Analyst Quality System Data Management
What you'll do:
This position will be based in Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Pune. Seeking a skilled and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Quality system data management and analytics team. Reporting directly to the Quality System Management Manager, you will play a vital role in driving data-drive decision-making processes and supporting the organizations digitalization initiatives. You will be directly responsible to digitalize and automate the business processes through use of digital tools and applications.
"Digital Solutions & Application Development
1. Lead and deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence and analytics solutions, including requirement identification, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support, ensuring a first-time-right delivery approach.

2. Design and develop complete business applications and dashboards using Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools to address complex business problems.
3. Collaborate closely with the Opex, Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to shape and execute digitalization and analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
4. Own projects independently, managing scope, milestones, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Data Management, Reporting & Business Insights
5. Develop and manage robust data models, optimized datasets, and semantic layers to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable reporting solutions.
6. Establish and maintain data connections with Snowflake, ensuring secure, performant, and optimized data access for reporting and analytics use cases.
7. Support and enhance data pipelines by handling data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, and refresh performance.
8. Ensure strong data governance practices, including data quality checks, validation frameworks, access controls, and documentation standards.
9. Deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations with 100% on-time delivery (OTD) and zero defects, aligning with defined KPIs and business requirements.
Process Digitalization & Automation
10. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitalization and automation of manual or inefficient processes, improving productivity and accuracy.
11.Drive digital transformation initiatives internally at GSCCoE for improving productivity and efficiency.
Governance
12. Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, providing regular progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
13. Monitor performance and adoption of deployed solutions, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and minimizing application downtime.
14. Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in business intelligence, analytics, cloud data platforms, and digitalization to drive continuous innovation.
15. Mentor and guide junior analysts and team members, supporting skill development, best-practice adoption, and overall team capability enhancement."
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics,or a related field
- 11-14 years of handson experience in similar areas.
- Minimum 6-8 years' Experience in business reporting and Automation projects
Skills:
a) Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, Power pages, SQL, ML, Python
b) Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role within a manufacturing or related industry
c) Knowledge of different types of Databases (Relational, Graphic...)
d) Strong Data Manipulation skills, working with large datasets, Data Modeling
e) Experience within large data environments (Cloudera, Snowflake, OBIEE, etc) Data Science"
f) Good Presentation and Project Management skills
g) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
h) Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
i) Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
j) Able to deal with huge complexity.
k) Comfortable working remotely from colleagues, manager, and stakeholders.
l) Prior experience in a global organization and knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus.
m) To be able to deal with uncertainty and to bring clarity and definition.
n) Willingness to take on challenges.
o) Travel may be required but less than 10% of the time."
