Senior Analyst - Lease Accounting
What you'll do:
The Lease Accounting Support Specialist for GFA Lease Accounting COE, works as a key member of the Lease Accounting team to assist the company in achieving targeted goals. This position reports to the Lease Accounting Supervisor and has an active role in entering and updating leases in the subledger to maintain compliance with the lease accounting standard-ASC 842. In addition, the Lease Support Specialist responds to customer queries, provides responses to routine accounting questions, performs end of term activities, vendor invoice reconciliations and participates in continuous improvement projects.
"Lease Management
Enter and update leases in the subledger
Perform Lease modification as required to the existing leases
Request for invoices Lease Service Provider/Vendor
Run basic portfolio reports to montor the health of the leases and report any abnormality for corrective actions
Perform End of Lease Term activities
Maintains updated procedure documentation and train the back up
Actively participates in month end process to ensure completion within target timeframe
Participates in continuous improvement and special projects as assigned
Regularly monitor the health of the Lease portfolio and ensure it reflects the most updated life cycle event
Ensures completeness and accuracy of lease data
Continuously improving current processes to help the team become more efficient and proactive in the daily/monthly responsibilities
Lease Accounting
Month end close support
Remove/Add notifications, send emails to the relevant stakeholders
Work on clearing the BECS erros occuring as a result of File Interface errors
Post manual entries to sub ledger
Assists with correcting entries posted to subledger
Reconciliation
Perform Vendor Reconciliation/AGIS Submission form
Vendor Reconciliation/New Deals
Vendor Reconciliation/Maintenance
Customer Management
Effective communication and timely resolution of customer tickets in CORA
Able to work and communicate both international and domestic customers
Qualifications:
CA
Minimum of 8-10 years of finance/accounting experience
Skills:
"Experience with financial and ERP systems: Oracle (AR, AP, and GL), SAP (FICO)
Experience working with CoStar/Lease Accelerator (preferred)
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)"
