SCM Program Manager

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a SCM Program Manager.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you'll do:

Job Summary
This role will act as the primary conduit between the business unit(s) it supports within Mobility Group North America and the SCM organization. The SCM PM will manage supply chain deliverables and strategies for New Product Introduction and Pursuits from the design phase through production launch to meet program timing, cost, and quality requirements; this requires cross-functional coordination with engineering, operations, purchasing, quality, and others to ensure successful development and launch of new products. The candidate will assist with early supplier involvement to meet key SCM and BU initiatives and with alignment to commodity management strategies.

Additionally, the position will be responsible to support Pursuit activities including supply chain strategy and costing for early pricing of design proposals, business case development, and responses to customer RFQs. They will provide managers and the product line with the information they need to submit competitive proposals and price products appropriately. "

Job Responsibilities
A. Manage SCM deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure sucessful execution of new programs, including timing, cost,
and quality deliverables.
B. Lead SCM pursuit activities by working with Commodity/Category Managers and strategic suppliers to build and manage costed BOMs, including
component and tooling costs, lead times, and capacity analysis.
C. Represent SCM and participate in supplier APQP activities within project scope.
D. Oversee and track timely execution of sourcing councils, supplier tooling kickoffs, development, PPAP, and other launch deliverables.
E. Represent and lead SCM function in PROLaunch, gate reviews, and other project reviews.
F. Problem solve and deal effectively with roadblocks and risks, developing mitigation plans and escalating as required; identifying and communicating
risks efficiently to avoid impact to project deliverables.
G. Coordinate with commodity teams to ensure strategies align with strategic and profit plans.
H. Actively participate in teams working towards continuous process improvements, elimination of waste, and advance product quality planning

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, program management, plant operations.
• Previous experience Leading Customer Product Program initiatives and/or Project Management related functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering.
• MBA, PMP preferred.
• CPIM, C.P.M. certification preferred.
• Position requires excellent Project Management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with various computer systems/applications such as: Oracle, Excel, MS Project, Supplier Vis, Power BI.
• Effective interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, including the ability to navigate and lead within a matrix organization.
• Ability to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity; self-motivated and drive for results.
• Thorough knowledge of purchasing techniques and practices, including procedures associated with sourcing internationally

Technical knowledge
Position requires excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand engineering prints, understand and interpret key financial metrics, has a high degree of product knowledge, and solid understanding of markets (customers, end customers and competitors) and how our products service those markets. Proficiency with various computer systems/applications such as: Oracle, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Supplier Vis, Power BI
