SCM Logistics Senior Analyst

What you'll do:
The SCM Analyst is responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations across Industrial Sector (IS) APAC. The role manages logistics spend and stakeholder communications, with a focus on the short-term horizon (0-6 months) to ensure seamless alignment between network planning and logistics execution. The SCM Analyst also acts as the point of contact for service escalations and strategic growth support, oversees transportation capacity, provides market insights to assist planning, and delivers regular performance updates to drive continuous improvement.

"• Functional Excellence: Implement key working processes and functional KPIs, including but not limited to OTD, cost reduction, and program compliance; Represent logistics operations, lead initiatives, and develop strategies for network cost improvement to exceed PP requirements.
• Carrier Management: Build strategic supplier relationships to secure differentiated cost and service advantages.
• Transition Management: Oversee the transition from planning to execution and support escalations arising at the execution level.
• RFQ Implementation: Lead RFQ execution and ensure compliance with new route requirements.
• Forecasting: Translate planning outputs into mid- and short-term capacity forecasts to ensure operational readiness.
• Resiliency: Strengthen supply chain resiliency and mitigate risks to the business in dynamic environments (e.g., ocean market fluctuations, geopolitical situations, port strikes).
• Management Advisory: Provide guidance to network planning on identified and projected transformation capacity or OTD performance.
• Monitoring: Track market dynamics affecting cost and capacity, develop robust mitigation plans, and keep business updated.
• Collaboration: Partner with global procurement and global operations to leverage functional resources and programs that drive growth and efficiency improvements."
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or related fields.
Skills:
"• Strong understanding of supply chain knowledge, principles, and practices.
• Proven strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication, with the ability to use English as a working language."
