Sales Manager - Commercial & Industrial / Buildings

What you'll do:

The Sales Manager is responsible for outside sales, in primary for selling and developing business in C&I segment around power distribution from medium-voltage to low-voltage solutions in buildings.

  • Personally accountable for achieving the profit plan, margin and mix expectations
  • Provide accurate sales pipeline management
  • Embrace a data driven approach using metrics to evaluate & drive performance
  • Have a strong knowledge of product portfolio, applications and route to market/distribution channels. new markets, gaps and opportunities
  • Understand the major competitor's landscape, their tactics, organization, distribution, strategy and pricing
  • Personally establish strong business relationships with (key) customers and understand growth motivators within the customer base.
  • Build a network of internal relationships with business units, product management & segment teams across Eaton globally and to assist the development of marketing strategies and product portfolio evolution
  • Be a visible advocate of digital tools & cadence systems to drive sales efficiency/effectiveness
  • Deliver the sales transformation focusing on the changing buyer behavior journey embracing virtual selling and marketing led demand generation within Eaton's vision for sales
  • Ensure the highest level of ethical behavior and safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton's culture

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Solid Sales experience and expertise in a similar field

Skills:

  • Broad buildings electrical distribution system knowledge, and preferably segment expertise in C&I-segment
  • SAP knowledge and experience
  • Fluency in English language, additionally native in Finnish language, Swedish being a plus.
  • Suitable background would from a consulting company or contractor would be useful
  • A team player, consultative & detailed, driven, resilient & can-do attitude
  • Positive and energetic.
