Repair & Return Material Analysis Engineer
What you'll do:
The Repair and RMA Engineer is responsible for UPS product repair and RMA analysis processes comply with company quality standards and international regulations, improve product reliability, and enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement.
"• Perform fault diagnosis, repair, and functional testing of UPS products to ensure product performance meets specifications.
• Follow work instructions (WI) and inspection standards during repair operations.
• Receive and analyze returned products (RMA) to determine root cause (design defect, manufacturing issue, misuse).
• Prepare RMA analysis reports, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and corrective action recommendations.
• Provide feedback to R&D and manufacturing teams to drive design and process improvements.
• Ensure repair and RMA handling processes comply with ISO 9001, IEC standards, and internal quality requirements.
• Conduct final inspections on repaired products, including electrical performance and reliability tests.
• Complete repair records and inspection reports accurately in the system.
• Maintain RMA database and regularly analyze failure trends.
• Participate in quality improvement projects to reduce repeat failures and customer complaints."
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited institution
1 to 2 years of related experience
Previous experience in quality engineering
3 to 5 years of related experience in power electronics or UPS products
Certifications of Electrical license or quality-related certifications (e.g., CQE)
Master's degree in Engineering.
Skills:
Good English skill
Strong statistical analysis skills, proficient in Excel or statistical software
Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
Working knowledge of drawings and specifications interpretation
Working knowledge in functional measuring equipment usage.
"Familier with problem solving methods (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis)
Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (ISO 9001)
Knowledge of UPS repair techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements
Six Sigma Green belt certified or Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
