What you'll do:

The R&D Engineer will be responsible for developing new transformer products, improving existing designs, and driving cost optimization initiatives. This role involves creating and validating calculation tools, overseeing testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address market requirements and customer pain points.

• Leading new product development projects and implementing improvements.
• Developing and validating calculation tools for transformer design and performance.
• Creating instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Planning and following up testing activities to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Collaborating with Product Management team to understand market trends and future product needs.
• Working closely with Design, OPEX, Production, and Quality teams to identify and resolve customer pain points.
• Generating innovative ideas for product development, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
• Ensuring compliance to IEC standards and internal quality requirements.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional experience working with transfomers

• Advanced knowledge of IEC standards for transformers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in transformer design and development.
• Proficiency in calculation tools and simulation software.
• Experience in cost optimization and value engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and design software.
• Knowledge of testing procedures and validation processes.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
