R&D Associate Engineer

What you'll do:

• Perform day to day support-NPD and PLS, CC inquiries and execution, material alternative test such as for WA and FA evaluation. Qualification for lab testing requirements. Perform product validation align with the PRO-Launch, PCBA localization and thermal test requirements. Implement design change. Maintain R&D lab equipment, spearhead and lead RD 5S. EE assigned for OMRON, ePDU/PDU, Genepi, ODM - such as Lenovo, EMC, OMRON, Tripplite etc.
• NPD and STP support, material parts and BOM EE creation.
• Support product transfer, validation and test, such as PCBA validation and battery localization.
• Support production line help to solve/validate some issue, and PCBA level analysis.
• Perform and support quality analysis and solution of customer complaints, and support simulation, electrical and thermal test.
• Design change for improvements.
• Marketing. Sales and customer evaluation and sample requirements
• Know and run process, such as ECR, ECO, control run, rework, etc.
• Support and Identify VAVE / Cost out
• Knowledge about SAP, Maintain load and equipment in R&D lab, and 5S and EHS

• College graduate, preferably in Electrical Engineer (EE) and Electronics Engineering (ECE)
• Has at least 4 years work experience related to hardware/electrical design engineering
• Have technical capability in electronics such SPS power supply, UPS, Laboratory equipment such as AC source, Oscilloscope, EOT chamber etc.
