Quality Manager- Aerospace

We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our plant leadership team.

This role is responsible for driving the execution and deployment of the Strategic Quality Plan in collaboration with plant leadership. The Quality Manager provides total quality leadership to customers, suppliers, partners, and internal manufacturing cells. Key responsibilities include leading New Part Introduction and continuous improvement/LEAN initiatives in targeted areas such as CAPEX, factory cost reduction, and process improvements. Additionally, this position manages the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure product flow aligns with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.

What you'll do:

• Manage the Quality function at Lakeside manufacturing facility
• Act as the primary customer quality interface, resolving complaints and driving root cause analysis
• Support Supply Chain with supplier quality data and non-conformance management
• Lead development and improvement of Quality Management Systems and host audits.
• Analyze quality metrics, recommend actions, and lead improvement teams to reduce variation
• Oversee product development activities, ensuring design for manufacturability
• Manage inspection/test plans and build a culture aligned with Eaton Zero Defects Plan
• Prepare Capital Appropriation Requests for new technologies and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Senior Quality function
• Aerospace experience is a must
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100, and auditing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving expertise (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis)
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100, and auditing techniques
• Thorough understanding of engineering design and product reliability concepts and tool sets
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, process variation reduction, and new product launch

Skills:

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, previous management experience would be a plus
