Quality Engineer- Warranty & Order Management

What you'll do:
As a Quality Engineer- Warranty & Order Management, you will manage end-to-end warranty care processes and ensure timely, accurate handling of customer requests, complaints, and field service activities. You will work closely with Operations, Service, Quality, Engineering, and Post-Order teams to support performance reporting, coordinate site activities, and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with Customer Quality Engineering will be key to aligning complaint handling, field failure analysis, and customer feedback initiatives. Your work contributes directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warranty care processes, service requests, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate on-site activities with Engineering, Quality, Service, R&D, and Post-Order teams.
- Prepare monthly field service and CONC performance reports.
- Track and close open warranty cases.
- Analyze monthly repair volumes and support process improvements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate service appointments.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain strong communication.
- Work closely with the Customer Quality Engineer on complaint management, VOC feedback, and field failure investigations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Quality function
- Experience working with Switchgear and Transformer Products
- CIM : Customer Interaction Management experience would be advantageous
Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Salesforce, or similar platforms (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong influencing and coordination abilities.
