Project Sales Engineer - Power Distribution - North West

What you'll do:

Develops and secures a profitable, sustainable pipeine of business primarily focused on Low Voltage solutions (e.g. transformers, switchboards, final distribution equipment) in the commercial buildings arena, whilst contributing to the growth of Eaton's Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure business. Works closely with the peers in Ireland and UK for other business lines, business units, marketing teams and the commercial back office acquiring share through integrated business development activities. Scope of target customers: Consultants, Contractors & Panelbuilders.

Responsibility for:

• Developing and delivering a sustainable, profitable pipeline in line with Eaton annual/quarterly targets
• Delivering relevant levels of sales activity with customers in line with targets throught face to face or digital engagement
• Owns sales drive and efficiency: Seeks our and adopts digital tools to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
• Drives pull abased ctivities with target customers (contractors and consultants)
• Panel builder partners: progressing our penetration via our partner programme, focusing on demand generation and geographical coverage
• Energy transition: Grow width of wallet by helping to identify opportunities for Eatons EV charging and Energy storage solutions
• Energy Systems and Solutions: work with business units to execute key strategic projects which fit our commercial buildings strategy in the UK
• Market understanding: understands the competitve landscape, key customer and needs, contributes to new offer creation and launch processes
• Marketing: Close working relationships with the UK and Ireland marketing team to drive strategic plans fo new customer acquisiton, retention and growth
• CRM analytics: Works with line manager and colleages to analyse and drive insight on activity rates, pipeline build, and conversion rates in order to achieve targets
• Ethics: ensure the highest level of Ethical behaviour and safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton's Culture

• Business degree or further/college education

• Experience working in a B2B environment, working with contractors or specifiers in construction or technology
• Essential: Sales planning and execution, experience of adoption of CRM (preferably Salesforce) and use of Power BI
• Prefered: Understanding of - UK construction sector, commercial building electrical infrastructure, competitive landscape, power distribution solutions
• Naturally inquisitive; is adaptable and open to new ways of operarting; embraces change
• Lays out a compelling vision of the future
• Builds strong (internal & external) customer relationships and anticipates / delivers customer centric solutions
