Project Manager
Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Burlington, ON office and offers benefits from day one as well as a company vehicle.
The targeted annual compensation range for this role is $116,000 - $145,000 a year.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing after closing of the major electrical assembly projects in the region by meeting customer expectations and timelines for product, documentation, and quality. The Project Manager is to improve the financial position for Eaton Electrical and the customer. The goal is to create value and establish the process as a key differentiator from our competitors. The Project Manager also will mentor the project team of Project Coordinators (technical and transactional) in the project order process.
What you'll do:
- Be fully competent in technical major project management and operate with little direct supervision.
- Freedom to act to satisfy customer commitments and provide guidance to the sales representative of record relating to project management teams.
- Develop a proven record in managing large projects establishing clear expectations with customer after contract is closed by documenting the major milestones on the project.
- Define needs of our customers, understand the factory capabilities, establish agreement with customer/factory and communicate order acknowledgements accordingly.
- Manage all aspects of the relationship with assigned projects with contractors, industrials, distributors, consulting engineers and OEM's to ensure we continue a favorable relationship with all parties.
- Assume financial management of project, including, reviewing terms and conditions with sales as well as the purchase order, verifying pricing and bill of material reconciled by Sales.
- Assume complete technical management of project, including, reviewing complete plans and specifications with sale.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical, mechanical or mechatronics.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Successful technical background in industrial and construction products.
- Strong application knowledge of Engineered Products for Power Distribution.
- AutoCAD literate in the application of Power Engineered Products.
- Successful experience as a Project Coordinator or a Sales Representative.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's licence.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
- Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred qualifications:
- University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years minimum experience in working with electrical products and assemblies.
- Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., CET, C.Tech).
- Proficiency in French language will be an asset.

You effectively manage order entry delays arising from commercial issues, ensuring timely receipt of orders and resolution of outstanding financial concerns. Your strong ability to review drawings, assess e-tools and product availability, and differentiate warranty matters from commercial concessions allows you to confidently represent Eaton and maintain strong customer relationships. You demonstrate exceptional organizational and documentation skills, uphold current safety regulations during job site visits, and effectively navigate factory capacities, processes, information flow, and equipment breakdowns to maintain operational continuity.
