Eaton's ADMIN Administrative division is currently seeking a Project Lead OpEx.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible to lead CI, Growth, EBS pull & Manufacturing Strategy projects

#Li-SL4

Manage Projects with internal resources and external 3rd party contractors to develop new solutions, retrofit and implement new technologies used in the building and utilities. Develop capital plan, manage appropriations, and support cost out related to energy consumption. Responsible for direct supervision of highly skilled technicians including electric/electronics, Water Treatment, Mechanics, assistants, Janitorial, among others.

Responsible to support new product industrialization providing layout utilities and footprint optimization. Drive continuous improvement through ELSS/TPM/SUR tools deployment and Sustainability initiatives. Champion / Member of EHS category elements: BCM, Water, Air-Energy, Environmental, Electrical Safety (NFPEA70e), LOTO, Cranes, Hot Work, Emergency preparedness, Fall protection, Confined space, Contractor mgmt.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for direct supervision of highly skilled maintenance coordinators, technicians, and assistants.

2. Responsible to achieve optimum equipment performance through corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.

3. Responsible to create, review, implement or improve maintenance procedure to support preventive/predictive activities aligned to equipment manufacturer.

4. Responsible to implement maintenance engineering controls and deploy ELSS/TPM/SUR tools and the industry 4.0 pillars of automation and real-time OEE.

5. Responsible to implement new technologies and equipment retrofit according to capital plan, equipment road map, equipment performance or productivity improvements.

6. Prepare Capital Plan and submit appropriation request to fund capital projects. Execute projects according to budget, time, scope and return on investment.

7. Responsible to support industrialization of new products by creating the layout space conditions required (temperature control, utilities, lighting, etc.), including office/admin/common areas.

8. Responsible to identify/select suppliers, negotiate requirements and quotes.

9. Minimize maintenance cost, drive improvements, upgrades, or repair of equipment within directs reports, suppliers, or contractors.

10. Report, analyze and drive improvements to maintenance metrics: downtime, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance execution, service request performance.

11. Responsible to administrate the current Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS - Faciliworks or equivalent).

12. Support new process transfer through STP- PRO Launch activities.

13. Champion of MESH category elements and sustainability projects. Action closure management.

14. Drive continuous improvements (Kaizens, TPM events, Poke-yoke) by supporting direct reports.

15. Responsible to maintain legal requirements in compliance related to building infrastructure conditions (cleanness ventilation, lighting, evacuation routes, fire prevention), environmental and wastewater parameters. Ref. Dominican Labor Code, R032, 522, 64-00.

16. Responsible for the utilities, building and ground at the Santo Domingo Design Center.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor degree in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering or similar careers including: Electrical, Mechanic, Mechatronic, Industrial engineering.
• 5 years of experience.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish.
• Computer knowledge: MS Office, Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS: Faciliworks or equivalent,
• Programming languages / PLC Ladder and Statistical Control Software (Minitab or equivalent),
• CAD tools (electrical and mechanical drawings interpretation skills).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (TPM), SUR
• ISO14001/9001, NFPEA certified
• Experience with Local code/regulations (R032, 64-00)

• Preferred: Maintenance or related topics Master degree, Certified 6 Sigma and/or LEAN tools, project management.
