What you'll do:

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Project Engineer - SAP to drive the evolution of our SAP landscape in a rapidly scaling organization. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing SAP to the next level by improving processes, enabling system integration, and ensuring seamless communication between SAP and external systems. You will work at the intersection of business and IT, translating operational needs into scalable SAP solutions.

• Lead initiatives to enhance and optimize SAP processes across the organization
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, usability, and data integrity
• Configure and support SAP modules in alignment with business needs
• Ensure SAP supports company growth, scalability, and standardization

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems (e.g., MES, WMS, CRM, supplier platforms)
• Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data exchange across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and interface failures
• Collaborate with external vendors and IT partners on system connectivity

• Lead SAP-related projects and system improvement initiatives
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain
• Drive structured implementation of new functionalities and tools

• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and technical specifications
• Work closely with stakeholders to align system capabilities with operational processes
• Support process standardization and best practice implementation

• Ensure high data quality and consistency across systems
• Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvements
• Support reporting and analytics improvements through SAP data structures

• Several years of experience in project management. Preferably on outsourcing and procurement management.
• Master or Bachelor level on appropriate science

• Project management skills & tools
• High experience with SAP (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with SAP integrations (IDocs, APIs, middleware, EDI, or similar)
• Fluent English, Finnish is adventage
• Coordination skills with various stakeholders
