Project Engineer - Low Voltage

We are looking for a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of Low Voltage projects including product supply (Low Voltage Switchboards), installation and commissioning. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers delivering products and solutions across a variety of market segments in ANZ including but not limited to Data Centres, Rail, Mining, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Utilities.

"Provide high quality, efficient support to the PMO team to deliver customer projects on time and on budget, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of the PQ product portfolio.

To provide the ongoing technical expertise to facilitate client works."
"• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Preparation of project drawings, SLDs to customers as required
• Working with internal resources to have project related technical submittals submitted and approved by client
• Creation of project Bill of Materials through SAP and liaison with procurement
• Establish testing plans (ITP/ITS) and oversee UPS project Factory and Site commissioning and testing
• Ensure UPS project onsite Delivery, installation, commissioning and testing completed as per site requirements
• Ensure designs/projects comply with relevant electrical and safety requirements and customer specifications
• Lead the solutions to all technical related questions or inquiries from client
• Ensure all project work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner, with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction
• Provide regular project or progress report updates to both Eaton and clients
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Work in a team environment
• Comply with the company's policies and procedures
• Be aware of the company's and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Eaton's Quality Management System and Eaton Ethical standards
• Woking with internal or external resources to have all technical documents submitted for project closings, such as AS_BULT drawings, Testing reports & OM&M etc..
• Commitment to the quality, safety and environment and proactively reporting any risks and issues
• Understanding the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical /Electrconic Engineering
3+ years experience in delivery project engineering in electrical industry, UPS Experience - Preffered"
Skills:
"• Computer literate - Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word - required; AutoCAD experience - preferred (3D highly regarded)
• Sound technical knowledge of project systems, tools, and methodologies e.g., SAP, MS Project"
"• Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
• Strong ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies, and to adapt to changes in sequences and timelines.
• Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills"
