Production Planner

At our manufacturing plant in Suchdol nad Lužnicí, we produce molded-case and air circuit breakers, printed circuit boards, and switchboards. We are currently looking for an experienced colleague to join our team in the position of Production Planner.

The task of low voltage systems - data centres - Production Planner is to ensure a smooth and economical production process within given and agreed production capacities in a sequence which reflects customer project timeline.

Job profile:

• Creation of work orders for low voltage assembly considering project size and Bill Of Materials, customer requested delivery dates, availability of material, available capacity on the shop floor and priority
• Consideration of capacity utilization, production lot sizes and availability of tools/equipment
• Matching needed components to the right assembly step
• Using semi-automated component loading process into SAP work order or manual entry
• Tracking scheduled start/finish date versus actual start/finish date and material availability
• Optimization of SAP parameters with regard to parts availability
• Inventory optimization in line with LEAN principles
• Planning and confirmation of customer and stock transfer orders
• Coordination with other plants for delivery date changes for required components for low voltage assembly
• Reduction of excess and obsolete inventory

We would like you to bring:

• High school education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (production planning/preparation)

Experience in one of the following areas: Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations (Warehouse Order Management)

• Proficiency in SAP
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Good written and spoken and Czech, English for internal communication
