Procurement Supervisor

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Procurement Supervisor.

What you'll do:

Job Summary

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for leading operational buyer processes and teams located in Haina Plant focusing on material supply planning, management, and optimization. Support procurement related activities for projects. Provide training and development support to buyers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and support buyer teams to ensure efficient and timely procurement operations.
2. Drive continuous improvement in procurement KPIs and operational performance. (PO Complaince/ SOTD, Invoice Managment, Master Data Maintenance, DOH, Total Inventory, Premium Freight, Excess and Obsolete, among others)
3. Act as the first level of escalation for procurement-related issues within the plant.
4. Oversee and ensure the successful execution of team projects and initiatives.
5. Foster talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
6. Responsible for ERP Data Health metrics
7. Manage and coordinate all MMA activities and gap closers.
8. Support the SIOP process.
9. Support insight to Sourcing for supplier negotiations for direct material.
10. Provide support for managing and executing inventory strategy (MRP, KanBan, ROP, VMI, and Consignment)
11. Excess and Obsolete Management.
12. Manage Supplier relationship and performance and support development.
13. Responsible for minimizing purchase price variance.
14. Establish and maintain procedures for department.
15. Ensure site adheres to Supply Chain Policies and Corporate procedures and programs.

Qualifications:

Education level required

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical), Business Administration / International Business, Finance, or similar fields

Years and area of experience required

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SCM related positions (planning, customer service, procurement). Preferable experience at the manufacturing area.

Technical knowledge

Advanced PC skills (SAP, MAPICS , KINAXIS , AS400, VISTA /Spanish).
Advanced ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
Advance English
Deep understanding of supply planning and procurement processes
