Post Order Project Manager, Customer Experience (fixed-term)

Eaton's new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, was completed in November 2023. The 16,500 m² site houses research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof, which will create plenty of additional jobs.

As one of the world's largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton's expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility serves as Eaton's Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

We are now looking for a Post Order Project Manager to join our team in Finland on fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover). This is an excellent opportunity for everyone who is interested in developing within project and order management in a growing business environment

In this role, you will take ownership of post-order activities and project deliveries, primarily focusing on Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear projects across Finland and the Baltics. You will act as a key link between customers, sales, factories, and suppliers.

What you'll do:

• Manage end-to-end MV switchgear project deliveries, ensuring timelines, cost, and quality targets are met
• Act as the primary customer interface during delivery, including handling complex and challenging situations
• Interpret technical drawings and provide guidance on optimal technical solutions
• Coordinate closely with Eaton factories (e.g., Hengelo and Ankara) and internal stakeholders to ensure execution and delivery
• Own order management in SAP/ERP, including order accuracy, follow-up, and reporting
• Lead project activities such as FAT, subcontractor coordination, logistics, and documentation
• Monitor project performance, resolve technical issues and claims, and drive continuous improvement in line with Eaton processes and safety policies

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in order management, project management, or a similar role
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/order management systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings would be nice to have
• Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken) - Finnish is mandatory

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take leadership in challenging situations
• Confident communicator with experience handling demanding customer interactions
• Ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions between sales, customers, and factories
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem solving
