The Plant Manager is responsible for the operational and financial performance of Eaton's Power Distribution and Control Assemblies facility in Arden, NC. This role sets strategic direction, ensures safe and efficient manufacturing operations, and drives results aligned with the Eaton Business System, corporate values, and ethics. Our Arden, NC location is a key electrical manufacturing site with over 1,000 employees across two facilities. This role carries full P&L responsibility (~$1B) and is critical to driving growth, operational excellence, and long-term business success. We specialize in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) products across three primary lines:
- Low Voltage Assemblies
- Medium Voltage Controls,
- Assemblies Automatic Transfer Switches
What you'll do:
- Lead the plant team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and financial goals.
- Drive continuous improvement using Eaton Business System tools and processes.
- Develop and execute strategic and annual business plans.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on employee engagement and development.
- Oversee asset utilization, facility investments, and productivity improvements.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration across sales, customers, and other Eaton sites.
- Champion inclusion, diversity, and community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies (EEO, OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Select, develop, and coach plant leadership and staff.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
