Planner
What you'll do:
Job Summary
The main scope will be to ensure the production requirements get completed on time and 100% accurate, capacity analysis, creation of production plan and manage work orders, inventory look up, and to contribute as required for operation continuity and Supply Chain department goals.
Job Responsibilities
A. Create and maintain an achievable production plan based on the master schedule for the production line.
B. Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line.
C. Develop knowledge about manufacturing processes, product families, routings and BOM structures.
D. Expedite and assign priorities to production orders in sinergy with supply team.
E. Drive accountability for past due status and track root causes and actions of failures.
F. Interacts with supply planners to make an achievable production plan and provides information to them about production order and expedites status to comply with customer needs.
G. Coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability.
H. Analyze, report and creatively find alternatives to material shortages that affect the production plan.
Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Administration from an accredited institution.
Years and area of experience required
- Minimum of two years of experience in Materials / Production Planning in manufacturing organizations.
Technical knowledge
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
• Fluent in English
• Kanban / pull systems
• Proficient in MS Office toolset
• ERPs/MRP knowledge"
