Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Partner Development Specialist.

The Partner Development Specialist will collaborate with outside sales, sales management, and internal/external customers to provide exceptional customer and sales support. The goal is to grow Eaton's Power Advantage Partner Program customer base in the utility segment, while meeting or exceeding sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin and enhancing partner satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
A. Support sales regions to meet monthly/quarterly/ annual sales goals established by the business
B. Daily collaboration with field sales covering the same region, distribution account managers, direct marketing reseller (DMR) account managers and EatonCare inside sales to drive business and grow Eaton channel presence.
C. Establish and maintain the best possible commercial relations with existing and potential partners (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the knowledge of customers' business and organization and knowledge of Eaton product lines and strategic plans
D. Coordinate with marketing and sales to provide documentation for customers to look at product information and solutions. Provide product and technical information to outsides sales to support generation of sales into the utility segment
E. Respond to field sales and customer channel inquiries (price, lead time and selling policy) in a manner consistent with established division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives
F. Collaborate with regional field sales, channel marketing and top revenue generating accounts to develop a "go to market" business plans containing sales targets, marketing activities, customer engagement and support model.
G Engage and leverage Alliance partnerships with industry leading affiliates (i.e. Cisco, NetApp, EMC, Nutanix) to increase partner engagement, promote solution selling, and drive specification at the end customer level.
H. Act as focus for field and customers in dealing with functional departments, i.e., engineering, customer service, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and demand planning
I. Accurately process customer quotes and coordinate renewal of quotes as required. Follow-up on orders and quotations and provide information and updates to customers and sales engineers.
J. Proactively contact partners following Deal Registration and sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint or objections.
K. Facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution
L. Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
M. Lead project teams and serve as team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team's performance.
N. Recruit and enable new partners within the various channel segment to join the PowerAdvantage Partner program.
O. Demonstrate the ability to professionally manage customer telephone calls and emails while performing other required tasks

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product Support, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Proposal Support, or a related commercial function.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications.
  • Advanced English proficiency (full professional working proficiency), both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer-focused skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
