Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. What you'll do:
The Paid Media Strategist will play a critical role in supporting Eaton's global marketing teams through the strategic planning and execution of paid media campaigns. As part of the Social & Paid Media Center of Excellence, this individual will bring deep expertise across digital advertising channels-including Google Ads, paid social, programmatic platforms and trade publications-to drive brand awareness, demand generation and lead acquisition. The strategist will collaborate closely with segment and field marketers to develop customer-centric media plans, optimize campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Lead the development and strategy for paid media initiatives by providing guidance on budget allocation, audience segmentation, performance measurement and ongoing campaign optimizations.
- Plan, create, and manage paid media campaigns across various platforms including programmatic display & video, Google ads, Facebook, LinkedIn and trade publication media buys. Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and target the right audience.
- Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for key stakeholders, showcasing campaign performance, insights and recommendations for improvement. Use data to make informed decisions and optimize campaigns.
- Develop and manage budgets for paid media campaigns, ensuring accuracy and precision. Track spending and adjust budgets based on campaign performance and goals.
- Analyze keyword research to identify relevant keywords and phrases for paid search campaigns. Continuously refine and expand keyword lists to improve campaign targeting.
- Support content creators with developing compelling and visually appealing creative assets that resonate with the target audience. A/B test different variations to determine the most effective messaging and design.
- Work closely with internal teams such as content creators, designers and marketing operations to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. Collaborate with marketers to understand their needs and provide regular updates on campaign progress.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in paid media. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or associated field
- Solid experience as a media buyer at an agency or brand
Skills:
- Strong expertise in paid media platforms including paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit), Google ads (Search, Pmax, YouTube) and Programmatic tools (e.g., Basis, The Trade Desk, or similar).
- Experience in effectively managing budgets across multiple campaigns with precision and accuracy.
- Experience with analyzing data in visualization dashboard, such as PowerBI, and creating actionable insights.
- Understanding of tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Looker Studio and other marketing measurement tools.
- Experience directly managing and tracking paid media budget is required.
- Proficiency in using excel for data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS and advanced formulas.
- Effectively leads projects and manages deliverables among key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication for internal audiences
- Analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise and actionable storylines
- Provide innovative solutions that are consistent with organization objectives
- Mastery of written and spoken English is required
