What you'll do:

The Paid Media Specialist will play a key role in the planning, execution, and optimization of comprehensive paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn and programmatic channels. This role requires a well-rounded media professional with proven experience managing diverse paid media placements and driving performance through hands-on campaign execution.

Key responsibilities include refining bidding strategies, testing and updating ad creatives, adjusting targeting parameters, and delivering actionable insights to enhance campaign outcomes. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with a strong understanding of paid media ecosystems and a passion for driving measurable results.

  • Plan, execute and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook and programmatic using native ad managers and a demand--side platform
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Manage media budgets, ensuring efficient budget allocations across channels. Provide monthly forecasts and actuals for every paid media placement
  • Develop and implement audience targeting strategies based on business goals and data insights
  • Cultivate a strong parternship and deep understanding of assigned business segments (our internal clients) to enhance targeting strategies and optimizations
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., analytics, creative, content operations) and external partners (e.g., publishers, ad tech vendors) to ensure seamless campaign execution and optimization
  • Oversee the setup, trafficking, and troubleshooting of ad campaigns. Ensure ads are set up accurately and meet quality and brand standards
  • Continuously optimize campaigns by adjusting bidding strategies, ad creatives, and targeting parameters to enhance performance
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in online advertising. Share insights with the team to drive innovation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or associated field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a paid media campaign manager with direct responsibility of campaign execution

Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads, paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram) and programmatic platforms (e.g., Basis, The Trade Desk, Criteo, Stackadapt, Adobe Advertising)
  • Preferred experience with Google Editor
  • Familiarity with different bidding strategies (e.g., CPC, CPM, CPA) and optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with industry tools like Google Tag Manager, DoubleVerify, MOAT and brand safety tools
  • Proficiency in using excel for data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and advanced formulas
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and interpretations using tools like Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio or Power BI
  • Ability and openness to learn new technology
  • Ability to set forecasted goals and execute strategy that achieves those goals
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise and actionable storylines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with a service mentality, reflected in the interaction this role plays in working with business and functional teams as "internal clients"
  • Mastery of written and spoken English is required
