What will you do?
In this role you will be responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing and target accounts within the Vancouver Island market. You'll also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and end users, to drive sustainable sales growth.
Sales - Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives. Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; Communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions and inform Regional & District strategies. Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
Collaboration - Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Customer Relationships - Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins.
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.

What will make you successful?
The ideal candidate is an agile learner who enjoys fast paced sales environment. They understand the importance of customers, organizations, channel strategy and pricing to deliver support to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate understands the fundamentals of electrical assemblies, components, and engineering services, enabling them to penetrate the contractor market across large projects and day-to-day operations. They will also be responsible for driving growth in the OEM segment, leveraging distributor channels. Success in this role requires the ability to collaborate across Eaton's verticals, including manufacturing plants, engineering services, and component teams to deliver integrated solutions. Additionally, the candidate will build strong relationships with key end users, creating future opportunities and providing ongoing support.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering/ sales / project management

• Valid and unrestricted driver's licence
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry
• P Eng. or CET designation, Business Degree
• Knowledge of Eaton electrical products, services and competitors.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93000 - $117000 a year. You are also eligible for a sales bonus.
