What you'll do:
The OT SME (OT Subject Matter Expert) in the factory has a crucial role in support and protecting operational technology (OT) systems against cyber threats, and secure manufacturing plant OT systems performance. A SME OT plays a crucial role in protecting critical plant infrastructure and ensuring operational continuity. Through their expertise, they help reduce cyber risks, increase security and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibility OT (Operation Technology) SME (Subject Matter Expert):
Managing the OT Inventory Asset List by updating the necessary data whenever the production layout involving equipment included in the list is modified.
Activating the OT Inventory Asset List every time an equipment/asset is introduced into the factory (transfer/purchase, etc.)
The annual evaluation (at least once a year) of all assets and the correctness of the data in the OT Inventory Asset List.
Knowledge, understanding and breakdown rootcause analysis/action plan of OT networks: SAP-MES-equipment connectivity- Industry 4.0 tools (OEE, SPC, Traceability, DWI,etc..) - Quality tools & manufacturing data management, etc.
Ensure network segmentation to separate IT and OT networks and limit unauthorized access.
Collaboration with the local SIS in order to maintain an adequate segmentation of IT and OT networks
Backup creation for OT software of critical equipment and more e.g. PLC or OT servers.
Collaboration with equipment manufacturers/suppliers in order to obtain software for OT equipment and remote access for 3rd party engineers
Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in OT systems.
Development and implementation, together with local SIS, OT SME, of strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Providing the requested information to/from local business and maintain new tasks in order with EMEA Cyber Security Leader
Participating with SIS to meet needs in the development and implementation of the local Security policy and procedure to ensure compliance with Eaton regulations and standards.
Develop and test incident response plans to ensure a quick and effective response in the event of a cyber attack.
To ensure that all non-standard hardware and non-standard software are approved before use. All devices with a wired or wireless connection fall into this group, regardless of whether the network is used or not.

Update OT operating systems (such as Windows 7, NT, LINUX) to the latest ECT approved version, if the provider allows it. And secure operation restart performance.
It is ensured that the 'OT Approval' and 'OT Segregation' processes have been fully followed before connecting any device to the network.
Staff training in OT environment for robust and educated team.
Support Manufacturing engineering team for new product introduction in OT system-MES solution (process flow chart, master sample management, interlocking, equipment events, etc..)
Qualifications:
Engineering diploma
Min 5 years of experience in a similar domain
Skills:
C++, Phyton, Web interfaces, MQTT protocol, Hermes protocol, CFX files, OPC-UA protocol
Data base communication, Socket Communication,
Technical skills
Digital skills
Network connectivity
Indistry 4.0
Team work
Communication skills - English advanced
Experience working in a manufacturing site
