What you'll do:

The focus of this role would be to manage a team of local and remote Buyers in Hungary and other potential strategical sites while interacting with a variety of different business functions including Suppliers, Strategic & Operational Procurement, Customer Service, Warehouse, Supplier Development and Category Managers, Finance, Senior management team, IT and PLM globally to ensure effective and timely material availability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as team leader and manage up to 15 buyers both locally and internationally.
• Ensure that your team and you as a leader build up a good relationship and understand the constraints of our external vendors and communicate clearly internally and externally
• Develop and execute defined KPI's and measure your team and ensure that overall goals are achieved
• Cooperating with Process Excellence to deploy capability competency matrix and upskill the knowledge of your team and yourself
• Govern processes to improve planning parameters and replenishment strategies, like lot size, lead-time etc in the local ERP systems
• Managing changing scenarios like seasonality, forecast changes, supply chain changes and deploy the necessary changes
• Integrating strategical MP functions into EATON's SIOP process
• Ensuring that planning data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios
• Keeping strong customer focus and give importance to reduce slow movers and obsolete material
• Working with the Supply Chain-Order Management Team leaders on improving with supplier in intercompany shipments within EMEA and re-structure the process if needed
• Contribute and support implementing new Digital tools defined by Eaton and implement these into our teams.
• Deploy successors and work on a talent pool with the senior leaders
• Assure team is adhering to EATON Life Saving Rules, ethics and other relevant global and local trainings and perform necessary trainings as direct manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, and 2 years of experience in a comparable leadership role

Skills:

  • Ability to use English in a professional capacity both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP MM preferred
  • Advanced level in MS Office
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Project Management knowledge, ability to hold presentations, and an ability to mentor and educate
