Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a National Account Manager in Smyrna, GA.

What you'll do:

The National Account Manager will be a part of the Home Depot Account Team and will support Circuit Protection products, Bussmann products and Pro Sales initiatives. The Senior Account Manager is a key contact for the Home Depot Electrical Merchant, Pro Merchant and Home Depot's subsidiaries (ex. HD Supply/Interline).

The Account Manager is responsible for proactively supporting the sales and profit potential of Circuit Protection & Bussmann products with the objective of maximizing sales and market share. In this role, you will manage all sales activity (including both brick & mortar and dotcom) for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market share.

Key responsibilities include:
• Work with the Director of Retail Sales and all other appropriate members of the RWD and Bussmann divisions, to achieve annual sales budgets across the Retail product lines.
• Be responsible for assigned aspects of account management including meeting assigned sales targets, maximizing profitability.
• Make relationships with Home Depot and HD Supply Merchants and their teams to proactively respond to their needs, identify new opportunities, resolve current issues and participate in PLRs, Promotions, Training, and other customer driven initiatives - striving to enable account satisfaction through superior customer service, account management and data management.
• Be responsible for providing external intelligence and compiling competitive analysis (new product introductions, benchmarking, market share, SWOT analysis, pricing, etc.).
• Manage Project Resets with Account aligning project schedule with Operations Manager, Program Specialist and Supply Chain
• Provide data analytics and reporting to support Inventory, Planning and Replenishment team with Home Depot.
• Perform ongoing collaboration with product managers to align sales forecasts with production planning.
• Perform proactive preparation, strategic development, and participation of Quarterly Business Reviews, Category Reviews and Line Reviews.
• Develop strategic business partnerships, which influence divisional plans, supporting business programs and growth.
• Guide other internal functions in understanding and acting upon account, consumer and industry insights.
• When required, work with 3rd party Sales & Service team to help manage store service, store sets, store training, and other store events. 25-35% travel required.

What You'll Do:

• You will be responsible for the preparation and achievement of annual sales budgets and forecasting agreed upon by the senior executive team.
• You will lead customer supply chain efforts to actualize customer and internal sales budget and triage potential shortcomings.
• You will produce weekly reporting for both customer and internal teams to manage business, expose opportunities for improvement, and improve dialog with all stakeholders.
• You will manage merchandising projects related products resets, new product releases, and strategic efforts to drive a more productive business.
• You will facilitate development and execution of the Home Depot retail strategic plan (playbook) throughout the sales and cross-functional teams that support the Home Depot retail channel.
• You will be responsible for providing external intelligence and compiling competitive analysis (new product introductions, benchmarking, market share, SWOT analysis, pricing, etc.).
• You will assist in the development of new product roadmaps (MGPP), pricing and marketing strategies - identifying gaps in the current product offerings and lead the team to identify and implement innovative and differentiated solutions.
• You will leverage the Product Management and Marketing teams to identify market trends and growth opportunities to drive customer behavior and profitability.
• You will proactively prepare strategic development and participation of key customer line reviews.
• You will have ongoing collaboration with supply chain and operations team to align sales/event forecast with production planning. Review key customer scorecards / metrics and facilitate improvement plans when needed.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic account management and/or supply chain management associated with retail accounts.

Preferred Qualifications
• Retail Marketing Experience of 5 years or more
• Supply Chain or Logistics Experience of 5 years or more
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical skills and high learning agility.

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $143,250 - $210,00

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
