National Account Manager

CO Salary Range: USD 165,000.00 - 242,000.00 per year

Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a National Account Manager . This is a remote role based in the United States. Relocation is not provided, as candidates must currently reside in the U.S., preferably near an airport. Up to 50% domestic travel is required.

What you'll do:

This role is responsible for the attainment of Division and Corporate goals of growth and profitability through planning, developing and directing the Eaton Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) sales and marketing efforts for key national channel partners in the electrical market.

Job Duties:

  • Maintains corporate relationships with key national partners in the electrical channel.
  • Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies to increase sales to meet division and corporate goals of growth and profitability.
  • Works with channel partner corporate teams to ensure all relevant new products are promoted proactively within their respective organizations. This will include sales and marketing promotions where appropriate.
  • Leads national and regional planning sessions to identify and execute growth strategies.
  • Works closely with regional sales leaders and agents to ensure that a viable working relationship is maintained and sales meet target expectations.
  • Obtain feedback from regional sales leaders through monthly reviews and initiate proactive and/or corrective action plans as necessary to assure the attainment of sales objectives.
  • Analyzes monthly sales trends from channel partner sales and inventory reports and communicates results to GEIS division leadership.
  • Identifies target territories for growth, that represents the most significant opportunities for GEIS to maximize sales results. Engages the local GEIS sales team and agents to validate and execute those growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that regional sales personnel adhere to negotiated national agreements.
  • Collaborates with Eaton North American Sales (NAS) national and regional channel leadership to ensure alignment with broader Eaton strategy.
  • Provides input as appropriate to enable division management to establish realistic goals for national accounts; accomplished through monitoring national account business, product trends and competitive conditions.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 7 years experience in electrical manufacturing sales

• Minimum 2 years experience in Key Account sales

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Crouse Hinds and B-line or competitive products
• Experience with large national electrical wholesale distributors (Graybar, Wesco, Sonepar, etc.)
• Strong understanding of channel and vertical marketing
Strong technical understanding of product features and capabilities within B-Line markets
• Experience with Key Account Sales, National Account Users and Electrical Distribution
• Extensive sales/national accounts experience in the electrical industry
Ability to use systems, financial understanding, sales data and analytical tools to drive customer behavior
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales volume commitments
• Ability to drive cross functional requirements related to customer service, pricing, marketing, operations, supply chain and product innovation
• Strong presentation skills including oral and use of media (PPT and others)
• Ability to develop and foster win-win relationships
• Experience in channel management (Agents, Distribution, Key Specifiers, Designers)
• Vertical Marketing experience (segmentation, value propositions, product positioning)
• Understanding of market and go to market strategies
• Negotiation, selling, creativity and persuasion skills
Strong administrative leadership and sales force effectiveness capabilities (effective use of T&E budget, promotions, metrics etc.)

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $165,000-242,000.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
