What you'll do:

As the MV Pre-order Quotation Leader, you will lead the Medium Voltage Pre-order team and drive the development of competitive, technically compliant, profitable, and executable offers across the EMEA region.

This role combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership to ensure high-quality quotations, effective risk management, and profitable growth. You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to develop winning customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the MV Pre-order team, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely quotations.
• Drive opportunity qualification, Bid/No-Bid decisions, bid strategy, pricing, and deal approvals.
• Ensure quotations are technically compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, contractual, and execution risks throughout the quotation process.
• Monitor quotation performance, margins, win rates, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions and support successful project execution through effective handover of key assumptions, commitments, and risks.
• Coach and develop team members, building technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities while supporting succession planning.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in quotation, tendering, bid management, or commercial roles within the electrical power distribution industry
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, applications, and power distribution systems
• Expertise in bid strategy, pricing, risk assessment, and commercial decision-making
• Fluent written and spoken English
