Mold Design and Manufacturing Engineer

What you'll do:

• To carry out revisions on existing Eaton molds and to design and manufacture molds for new parts.
• To perform necessary revisions on existing molds used in metal, copper, silicone, resin, and other components of Eaton products when required.
• To design and manufacture new molds for new parts and to follow up all related processes until approval is granted for transitioning the product into serial production.
• To produce certain parts used in serial production on machinery, ensuring the required quality, quantity, and delivery timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in Mold Design and CAM positions.
• Proficiency in Turkish and English.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD/CAM), AutoCAD, and Cimatron is required.
• Knowledge of analysis and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools and cutting parameters.
• Experience in CAM programming for CNC turning and milling (preferably 2.5D and 3-axis), including toolpath strategies, post-processing, simulation, and NC code generation.
• Knowledge of G-code and post-processing. Strong command of technical drawings and GD&T standards.
• Familiarity with injection molds, sheet metal/copper stamping dies, forging dies, and welding fixtures.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and effective time management.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Open to learning and self-development.
• Quality- and result-oriented.
• Team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Proactive and capable of taking an active role in the field.
