MES IT Senior Functional Analyst

What you'll do:

The Senior Analyst - MES Systems Analysis will support the implementation, enhancement, and operational stability of Eaton's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across APAC manufacturing sites. This role will focus on functional MES modules, translating business and manufacturing requirements into system configurations and specifications, and providing support through testing, go-live, and continuous improvement in alignment with Eaton's standard methodologies.

"Project Execution & Lifecycle
• Participate in MES implementation and enhancement projects using Eaton's standard delivery methodology (e.g., PROLaunch).
• Support the full lifecycle from approved functional design through go-live and warranty.
• Contribute to deployments, upgrades, and functional improvements across APAC plants.

Requirements & Design
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Perform process compliance and gap analysis between standard MES capabilities and site needs.
• Translate approved requirements into functional specifications and configure MES modules per standard design.
• Maintain system documentation and design artifacts.

Testing & Training
• Execute unit and integration testing with MES and related systems.
• Review and validate end-user training materials for process and configurations alignment.

Go-Live & Support
• Support cut-over, go-live, and warranty phases to ensure system stability and smooth transition to operations.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve post-go-live issues.

Collaboration & Communication
• Build strong relationships with IT peers, business users, and plant stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly on system functionality, process alignment, and project progress."

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Information Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of MES system experience, with strong knowledge of manufacturing business processes.

Skills:

"• Familiarity with MES systems and integration interfaces (e.g., Web API, databases, PLC).
• Basic system analysis and process optimization skills; capable of requirements analysis and solution design.
• Ability to design and build MES components and integrations using C++, C#, and SQL, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience with SQL Server databases and data analysis tools (preferred).
