Material Handler (Fork Truck Driver) - 1st Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Material Handler (Fork Truck Driver) - 1st Shift at our location in Syracuse, NY.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.77 per hour. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm.

What you'll do:

• Operate fork lift truck or hand truck to move, stack and deliver material to/from proper destinations or storage areas.
• Perform various duties to load and unload carriers, operate staging elevator and transfer conveyors, and transport material within Team Orange as required.
• Move machined parts, castings, assemblies, material and supplies about the department as directed, from station to station, to and from storage areas and to other departments
• Keep operators and assemblers supplied with work and see that move ticket accompanies outgoing material

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Prior fork lift experience
