What you'll do:

This Position is part of the Materials function in the Global Supply Chain CoE reporting to the Director - Materials. Primary role is to lead the teams involved in Material Supply Planning Management and Optimization.This role will provide a functional leadership in achieving Strategic objectives of the Materials function in Material planning.Identify and drive high impact projects in alignment with the Global Energy Infrastructure. As the Foresight deployment kicks off later this year or early next year, the ensuring the prepardness from a talent, training and E2E process execution perspective is key aspect of this new role

1. To provide leadership direction to the team of part of GSCCoE & build a scalable and capable organization through development and deployment of standard processes across all business which should be accepted by businesses as a benchmark solution by allowing better Material management & Planning with all cross functional key stakeholder including SIOP and Network Planner .
2.Build organizational capability though development plans, mentoring, driving accountability, cross-training & succession planning would be one of the primary objectives of this position.
4. Drive Key initiatives of the Materials COE Goals & priorities in People, Processes and Tools. Drive digitalization to bring more efficiency.
5. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: - Drive Stakeholder engagement and satisfaction by meeting expectations and needs, Monitor KPIs, voice of customer through periodic meetings and ensuring timely resolution to customer queries/feedback etc. To plan, schedule and manage the defined business services, delivering to agreed timescales, budget, quality criteria and commitments
6. This role will be responsible in adhering to transition process of all operational buyer roles to CoE and identify any risk collaborating with Project Team
7. Drive AI Projects aligniing to the priorities and revenues focused through growth Sites
8. Adhere to Foresight TOM Process
• Identifies deteriorating supplier performance before the plant escalates.
• Conducts regular reviews with plant leadership to understand priorities.
• Drives corrective actions across buyers, planners, suppliers, and sourcing teams.
• Develops metrics around customer needs; coaches the team to achieve those metrics.
• Creates sound succession plans and keeps the team motivated through a growth ladder.
• Creates clear ownership and accountability for plant support.

Qualifications:

Should be Engineering Graduate preferably with Master's degree (Preferably into Materials / Production / Operations Management)
15+ Year of Experience in Materials Management

Skills:

SAP/ MFG Pro/ Oracle. will be added advantage & Kinaxis Understanding
1 .Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations and Supply Chain Management personnel
2.Proven Track record in driving Continuous Improvement projects
3.Effective Stakeholder & Decision Management
4.Leadership and Team Management,
5.Adaptability and Change Management - Support Digital transformation initiatives
