Job Summary

The position is based out of Eaton's Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Pune, India.
The primary role is to lead the Global Eaton Business for supply chain management and allied operations.This individual will work with the global teams and Eaton sites for operational execution and business process improvement in the area of supply chain management.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic team manager to lead a team of data professionals in ensuring the accuracy, governance, and optimization of procurement data across the organization. This role blends elements of data stewardship, quality analysis and business collaboration to deliver actionable insights and enable efficient decision-making. The candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement systems, tools, and processes and be capable of driving team performance while collaborating with stakeholders to achieve cost-saving opportunities and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

"• Demonstrate strong functional knowledge & working experience related to Procurement & detailed understanding of concepts related to data health,Procuremnet Tools, ERPs, Part Number and Suppliers Data management
• Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework, including standards, procedures, and ownership of procurement-related datasets.
• Strong Understanding of procurement data connections, establish and improve data quality processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Demonstrate a consultative mindset, critical thinking and ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
• Role requires large project scoping, setting a vision, managing to project timelines and executive communication on status, risk and change management.
• Responsible for sharing with the team, best procurement management practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, maintain compliance with procurement data health processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization
• Strong delivery focus, act as a custodian of procurement data, fostering a culture of accountability across the team with proven project management expertise in a global, multi-ERP, multi-business model landscape
• Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with global, regional & local procurement teams.
• A team player with willingness to work across multiple cross-functional engagements and learning agility towards adoption of digital tool and technologies.
• Comfortable in working across multiple geographies and global stakeholders
• Preferred understanding of big data concepts, visualization tools and query languages like data lake, cloudera, powerbi, SQL etc
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data governance and procurement performance, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Take accountability for ensuring data accuracy by identifying and addressing gaps, inconsistencies, and errors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for data quality across procurement systems and processes.
• Define team goals and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Conduct regular reviews, foster skill development, and encourage innovation within the team.
• Lead the team in adopting agile methodologies to respond to evolving business needs and market dynamics."

Qualifications:

"• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related fields; MBA or certifications in digital transformation preferred.
• 13+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or data management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Preferred 13yrs of SCM experience

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving innovation and team development

• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, SAP MM, Mapix), analytics tools (Power BI, Palantir), and automation platforms (Power Automate, RPA tools).
• Excellent presentation, communication, problem solving & analytical skills
