Maintenance Manager

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager.

What you'll do:

Primary Function - Job Summary

1)Direct the maintenance Team to coordinate maintenance of plant machinery and production equipment, building and general services in a cost-effective method.
2)Support production activities.

Essential Functions - Job Responsibilities

1)Advise staff personnel on daily production status.
2)Lead, coach, and guide skilled trades within the maintenance and facilities department.
3)Maintenance management (Preventive, Predictive, Corrective, Autonomous), conducting periodic maintenance checks; with TPM methodology EBS.
4)Ensure effective maintenance and optimized uptime of all production and facilities equipment.
5)Drive efforts for continuous improvement and cost saving, mainly through Corrective maintenance reduction, oil management, electric energy consumption.
6)Trouble analysis, with pareto information, stablish countermeasure, improve PM standard.
7)Planning equipment upgrades and machine modifications.
8)Management spare parts (critical list, inventory, 5s).
9)Support the training in order to develop technicians or operators as required.
10)Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in
our processes or practices aligned to achieve, or business goals and/objectives.
11) Ensure the maintenance effectiveness through the MTTR (Main Time to Repair) and MTBF (Main Time between Failures) indicators.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Maintenance Engineering required
5 years in automotive industry, machining and grinding operations preferred

knowledge of the quality management system Strong leadership and motivational ability to lead a technical workforce (15+) direct
reports (maintenance technician), needs to have led technicians for at least 1 year
Knowledge of machine functions (electrical diagram interpretation and creation, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical operations).

English language at a conversational level required, and good technical reading

Results orientated, ability to work well under pressure, Relevant technical knowledge, Problem-solving skills, Efficiency and
organization, team working skills.

2)Business Relationships - necessary that an engineer understands the needs of the business, internally and externally, and the impact of his/her activities on the success of the enterprise. Extension and
Application of Learning/Knowledge - basic ability to go beyond the current state of personal knowledge and enhance mental capabilities.
1.Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
2.Accomplish with MESH requirements: EHS programs, waste requirements, training, inspections, etc.
3.Participate EHS Gemba Walks / Inspections / Programs
4.Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
5.Submit Kaizen Burst ideas to Improve Safety
6. Lead a team to evaluate and rank the plant's top ergonomic risks
7.EHS Cost Out & Avoidance: Hazardous waste, Non HW, Water consumption, energy savings, etc
8.Incorporate EHS into LEAN (VSM, 5S, TPM, etc)
9.Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
