LVA Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a LVA Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift. This position is ONSITE working 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am at our Arden (Asheville) NC Eaton facility.
The LVA Manufacturing Supervisor drives the processes in department through the Eaton Business systems. Assist plant Manager/Production Manager in the development of processes to achieve a zero incident culture, maximize output, maintain machinery, and reduce overall costs and through these improvements exceed the customers' expectations. Making sure that the organization decision making is based on a process oriented culture to ensure the linkage from strategy to actions.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

A. Monitor and improve the systems in place so as to maximize quality and production.
B. Schedule and commit the work load so as to meet all customer needs to the most effective manner.

C. Maintain and improve the quality and effectiveness of the department's methods/processes
D. Communicate with the department's employees on subjects relating to policy problem resolution, department objectives and quality issues.
E. Create and maintain a high level of employee morale.
F. Control and manage overtime, tool and other budgets within current guidelines.
G. Manage payroll, attendance, performance reviews and other administrative needs in a timely and accurate manner.
H. Coordinate with other departments in an effective manner.
I. Develop potential candidates for management and professional positions.
J. Promote positive and productive workplace environment that insures a company represented workforce.
K. Promote plant MESH (safety) policies and encourage employees to follow sound safety practices; support/promote zero incident culture
L. Develop and maintain a self-directed work team environment.
M. Support teams in achievement of objectives and commitment.
N. Support company sponsored community involvement and employee activities.
O. Other duties, projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:
- Must have either: Bachelor's degree in business, leadership, or related field of study from an accredited college
- OR Associate's degree from an accredited college, in business, leadership, or related field of study with 2 years of leadership experience
- OR High School/GED with 10 years of operations experience with 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am.
- No relocation is being offered for this role. Only candidates currently residing TODAY within a 50-mile radius of Eaton's Asheville (Arden) NC facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:
- BSEE or other engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- A technical industrial or management background along with a working knowledge of products (LVA, MVC, MVD, Fabrications).
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the MESH and zero incident safety culture and an awareness of all environmental aspects associated with or located in his/her respective areas.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of EQS, EBE, and EMS
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written as well as possessing skills in the art of persuasion
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated skills of technical analysis and evaluation are important
Training:
• New supervisors will participate in WCI Front Line Leadership training, Eaton's FLL training and Asheville Plant's local new supervisor orientation.
