Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Production Supervisor (m/f/d)
This position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria
This role represents the Head of Production, responsible for leading and developing the production department while ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The position oversees manufacturing operations, capacity planning, technology integration, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
What you'll do:
- Lead and develop the production team, building skills, engagement, ethical awareness, and a strong zero-accident safety cultur
- Own overall production performance, including quality, cost, delivery, and capacity planning in line with demand
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using the Eaton Business System and Continuous Improvement System
- Introduce, integrate, and optimise production technologies, automation, and digital tools to improve efficiency, quality, and traceability
- Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and management system requirements (ISO standards, Safety First)
- Take responsibility for manufacturing quality, including operator self-inspection and adherence to work standards
- Oversee technical production fundamentals such as bills of materials, work plans, and manufacturing documentation
- Provide technical and operational support to projects, field sales, and service activities
Qualifications and skills:
- Technical education (apprenticeship, secondary technical school or equivalent) with relevant industry experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a production or manufacturing-related environment
- Strong understanding of LVSA architecture, components, system design, and manufacturing constraints
- Solid knowledge of IEC 61439 standards and project execution processes
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as EPLAN Electric P8 is an advantage
- Proven leadership capability with experience in team development and people management
- Structured, process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and ownership mentality
What we offer:
- A performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 70,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
