EATON is hiring a Manufacturing and Industrialization Engineer to support the setup, optimization, and continuous improvement of Low Voltage Systems Assembly (LVSA) factories. This role is critical in developing efficient production processes, ensuring manufacturability of new products, and driving industrialization projects that enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
What you'll do:
- Industrialization & Process Development:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for low voltage systems assembly, ensuring efficiency and scalability
- Lead industrialization projects, including the introduction of new products into production and optimization of existing lines
- Develop and improve assembly line layouts, workstations, and production flow to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure new product designs are optimized for manufacturability
- Production Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Develop and standardize work instructions, process documentation, and assembly procedures
- Optimize automation and tooling solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor costs
- Equipment & Technology Implementation:
- Specify, select, and commission manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures for low voltage systems assembly
- Define and implement test and validation procedures to ensure production reliability
- Evaluate and integrate Industry 4.0 solutions for smart manufacturing and process monitoring
- Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
- Work with Quality and Compliance teams to implement process control measures and reduce defects
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues and failures
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Post-order Office and Maintenance teams to align on production strategies and requirements
- Support supplier qualification and validation of materials, components, and subassemblies
- Train and support production staff on new processes and best practices
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrialization role, preferably in low voltage systems, electrical equipment, or related industries
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for factory layout and tooling design
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IEC, and other relevant industry standards
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Effective communication and leadership skills to drive change and process improvements
What we offer:
- A performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 70,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
