What you'll do:
The Lead Engineer - Industrialisation is responsible for leading manufacturing process industrialisation and quality integration to ensure products and processes are safe, capable, repeatable, and production-ready. This role provides technical and people leadership across Manufacturing Engineering and Quality, ensuring robust process design, validation, and standardization from engineering release through sustained production.
- Lead industrialisation of manufacturing processes, production lines, tooling, and workstations.
- Define and approve manufacturing routings, standard work, work instructions, layouts, and tooling concepts.
- Drive DFMA, line balancing, capacity analysis, and process simplification initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM.
- Support production ramp-ups, engineering changes, and process stabilization.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and customer requirements.
- Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, capability studies, and process validation.
- Address process-related non-conformances, scrap, and rework.
- Embed error-proofing, standard work, and visual management.
- Drive structured problem solving using A3 and 8D.
- Lead and develop Manufacturing / Industrialisation Engineers.
- Establish engineering standards and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Requirement:
- Masters / Bachelors in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years of Industrialisation experience would be preferred
Skills:
- Candidates having valid US Visa(B1/B2) will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated expertise in DFMA to drive manufacturability, cost efficiency, and robust process design
- Strong experience in PFMEA and risk-based process planning to ensure high-reliability manufacturing
- Proven ability to optimize production flow through advanced line-balancing and capacity analysis
- Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems with hands-on experience ensuring compliance in manufacturing environments
- Strong capability in structured problem solving using A3 and 8D methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Team player, ability to get things done through teams effectively
- Managerial courage - doesn't hold back that needs to be said; provides positive & corrective feedback
- Decision quality - makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
- Business acumen - knows how business work; knowledgeable in current and possible future technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Position requires 40% travel ( both domestic & International )
