Eaton's North American Sales division is currently seeking a Lead Developer - Sales Reporting to join its team. This position is based in the Charlotte, NC area and only candidates within the Charlotte, NC territory will be considered. This exciting opportunity provides responsibility for developing and maintaining sales reporting systems while supporting strategic initiatives and business decision-making. It offers involvement in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement across technical and business teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

What you'll do:

The Lead Developer position is responsible for the processing, development, and maintenance of the Sales Reporting sales crediting rules within the North American Sales (NAS) organization. The key responsibilities of the position are to provide ongoing crediting rules analysis and development which aligns with strategic initiatives and to provide customer support for North American Sales (NAS) and Product divisions.

In this role you will:

• Develop software and report queries to support Sales Reporting using SQL, PL/SQL, Natural/Adabas and JCL

• Communicate with Sales Reporting personnel at all levels to anticipate and determine enhancements to aid them in decision making through software development, reporting and data analytics.
• Review business functional requirements documents and provide technical feasibility assessments
• Assess functional requirements to develop the technical specifications which show that all functional aspects are accounted for in the technical design.
• Support functional managers to identify areas of potential process improvements
• Establish and manage metrics and drive follow-up to achieve sustained process enhancements
• Create and communicate procedural improvements and new process documentation
• Work with related project teams, such as Information Technology (IT), in support of targeted process enhancements

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years of experience with Software AG Adabas / Natural including JCL
• 5 years of experience with EDI standard formats (852/867) and non-standard formats
• 2 years of experience developing/maintaining sales crediting processes
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of charlotte, NC. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience developing tools/queries with SQL & PL/SQL

• Dynamic oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of an organization
• Excellent organizational skills with strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities
