Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.30 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6;30 am - 2:30 pm.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift. The core hours are 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
In this function you will:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing continuity of shop floor material supply by scheduling & performing internal cycle counts, root causing inventory discrepancies, work with various departments to resolve inventory related issues, and using MRP and problem-solving tools to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate periodic cycle counts with Material Planners and Production Supervisors
• Perform ad-hoc inventory investigations and adjustments
• Preform root cause analysis with appropriate tools within designated time frame (5-ways, ect.)
• Support corrective actions for identified inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure required daily cycle counts are preformed.
• Support projects related to Material Storage and Replenishment Strategy
• Maintain databases and work sheets for off-site replenishment inventories
• Support planning and execution of annual Physical Inventory
• Participate in continuous improvement and 5S events
• Execute transactions for vendor services materials
• Support data accuracy by resolving COGIs, GRIR, MRBR, and other goods-receipt related activities (production orders and purchase orders).
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban
• Associates or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or another related field.
• APICS CSCP and/or CPIM Certification
Skills:
Position Success Criteria:
• Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office products
• Analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills
