Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Internship: Sales Team Support Representative (12-month) - Ottawa, ON, Canada

The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, data entry, order entry, order management and product support.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting a team of Senior Sales Representatives in evaluating and preparing construction project quotations.
- Engaging with contractors and Consultants to develop solutions for electrical installations.
- Working with channel partners in applications of Eaton Product and service offerings.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 80km of the job location to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
