What you'll do:
Eaton has an opening for a 12-month internship opportunity in our sales function located in Ottawa, Ontario. This role will commence in Jan 2026.
The Ottawa sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Ontario region.

Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, data entry, order entry, order management and product support.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting a team of Senior Sales Representatives in evaluating and preparing construction project quotations.
- Engaging with contractors and Consultants to develop solutions for electrical installations.
- Working with channel partners in applications of Eaton Product and service offerings.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 80km of the job location to be considered.
- Must be able to work full-time for the duration of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
