What you'll do:
Eaton has an opening for a 12-month, Digital Marketing & Distributor Programs Intern position. This position is in Burlington, ON. This role commences in Jan 2026.

Primary Function:
This position is responsible for supporting digital and traditional marketing initiatives and campaigns, aligned with Eaton's growth strategy and B2B customer journey. This includes supporting the marketing communications (MarCom) team in analyzing campaign metrics, supporting and planning events, providing creative input on current marketing campaigns as well as supporting the distributor programs manager in the development and execution of new and existing tools and initiatives for our major distributors.
The position requires understanding the importance of the B2B buyer journey and drawing on the perspectives and needs of both the customer and distributor channel, creating informative content that drives conversation, leads and sales. The role will require collaborating with product managers, sales teams, distributors, content writers, other Eaton marketing divisions, web designers and agencies.
Essential Functions:
• Support the MarCom team in analyzing data (web, social, PPC and campaign)
• Support marketing events (webinars, distributor events, tradeshows)
• Support activities within an integrated marketing campaign from design to execution
• Coordinate with external agencies and vendors on creative content creation (digital/print)
• Partner with product managers and sales teams to build and optimize content on the website
• Seek, analyze, and share feedback on other industry marketing material and digital content
• Manage the digital creative asset library and ensure it meets distributor's marketing collateral needs
• Act as a liaison between Eaton's Marketing/Sales teams, external suppliers and distributors to develop promotional programs, distributor training initiatives and physical product collateral/demos for distributor showrooms
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a college diploma or university degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business or Communications.
• This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 80km of Burlington, ON to be considered
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Must be able to work full-time for the duration of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in data analytics.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams ranging from IT, field sales, marketing, product line management, and senior leadership.
• Highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, result-oriented team player.
• Strong MS Office skills; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
