What you'll do:
Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the district sales team by delivering high-quality technical and commercial support. You'll contribute directly to exceeding market expectations on quotation accuracy, responsiveness, and customer service.
This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their knowledge of electrical products, pricing strategies, quoting tools, and market dynamics, while developing strong customer-facing and sales skills.
Job Responsibilities
A. Prepare accurate and competitive quotation packages for simple to moderately complex projects, leveraging both technical and commercial knowledge.
B. Ensure timely responses to all quotation requests within the assigned district.
C. Support sales teams in driving order closures and securing business.

D. Interpret customer requirements and project scopes, validate technical compatibility, and collaborate with Inside/Outside Sales Engineers-and when needed, with customers- to ensure alignment.
E. Maintain and update project and quotation databases consistently.
F. Contribute to lead nurturing efforts within the district.
G. Manage the order handoff process, ensuring seamless execution of service projects from sales to operations.
H. Serve as a trusted technical and commercial resource for colleagues, customers, and distributors on quotations and project management across power distribution, power protection, and electrical solutions.
I. Review and analyze customer plans and specifications to identify needs and propose appropriate solutions.
J. Define accurate bills of materials, competitive pricing levels, and optimal shipment cycles for each negotiation.
K. Proactively resolve customer issues by identifying solutions, utilizing available resources, and implementing process improvements when necessary.
L. Support the development and maintenance of strong commercial relationships with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or a similar technical-commercial role.
- Experience in electrical assemblies or the electrical industry is a strong plus.
Technical skills
- Passion for sales and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce is desirable.
- Familiarity with Eaton software tools (BidManager, Vista, Order Center, C360) is a plus.
