Human Resources Manager
Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking an HR Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Irvine, CA facility. Candidates must be local and commutable to this location as relocation assistance is not available. Minimal travel is expected (~10%).
The expected annual salary range for this role is $129000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Our Irvine site is a complex, vertically integrated site in the US, producing airframe valves, gauges, pumps, and aerial and ground refueling components. This is a non-union site with around 155 employees across 2 shifts.
What you'll do:
In this HR Manager role, you will provide leadership for Eaton's Fuel & Motion Controls business at our Irvine, CA plant. You will join the Leadership Team and be responsible for building organizational capability and driving cultural and organizational effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include assessing and selecting talent, managing performance, and offering coaching, consulting, and facilitation to leaders and employees. You will also oversee employee communications, training and development, and ensure legal compliance and positive employee relations. Additionally, you will manage compensation and HR support services, as well as lead and develop your HR team.

In this role, you will:
• Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the leadership team.
• Drive cultural change to align the organization with the strategy. Diagnose gaps between current and desired state and deploy actions to resolve the gap.
• Lead actions to sustain the Eaton Philosophy principles and Eaton's Ethical Business Conduct guidelines; ensure understanding and adherence by all employees.

• Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to functional leaders. Provide guidance and direction on complex business and HR issues. Understand how to manage information, balancing confidentiality with business needs.
• Advocate employee communication processes that inform employees and ensure meaningful two-way communication.
• Drive a focus on employee relations across the entire organization.
• Ensure that employment actions comply with local laws, requirements and corporate guidelines.
• Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that reward superior employee performance.
• Integrate and support all Eaton established processes and programs and act as a sponsor for driving all diversity and inclusion related activities.
• Manage employee relations issues.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Human Resources, or related field from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum four (4) years of professional work experience in HR.
• Experience with an hourly workforce.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred:
• Aerospace industry experience helpful; other manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in Plant/Factory Human Resources.
Skills:
• Knowledge of country / statutory laws. Detailed knowledge of available human resource programs, structure, cost, benefits that could be utilized for benefit to the company.
• Good communication, persuasion, listening, ability to influence decisions, problem solving and collaborative skills; ability to drive results across matrix organizations.
• Process orientation with strategic business partnership mindset.
