HR Intern - Sherman TX
What you'll do:
Eaton Corporation's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions group is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team. This position is a seasonal summer position based at our Sherman, TX facility.
Position Overview:
Eaton Cooper B-Line is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support the employee-oriented tasks. The selected candidate will play a key supporting role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR site's processes. Through the engagement, orientation and recruiting support, the HR Intern will support the site in achieving its goals. This role involves collaboration with various departments to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide functional support to the different department as a part of the Plant HR Team.
• Assist in recruitment efforts, onboarding, retention, record keeping and auditing.
• Assist in event planning, team member recognition programs, community outreach and other social programs.
• Participate in both targeted projects and broader programmatic initiatives related to HR in support of business objectives.
• Provide support and assistance to maintain strong, positive employee relations at all levels of the organization.
• Perform these and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a junior or senior pursuing a B.S degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration or Psychology.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (please don't round)

- Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Sherman, TX.
