As one of the world's largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton's expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton's Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you'll do:
As a Validation Engineer Intern, you will:
Perform testing of UPS units and systems
Develop the laboratory to function effectively while following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines
Build test setups, test these systems and document the test results
Develop processes and documentation
Provide technical support to other functions
Oversee safety and condition of laboratory equipment
Follow requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 2017 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories)

You are a B.Sc. or Master's student in Electrical Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in electronics or electrical installations
Electrical system knowledge: UPS installations and safety
Understanding of embedded firmware
Familiar with common tools and methods to work in high power lab environment, such as: oscilloscope, power analyzer and meters
Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented
