Job Summary

The GTM OpEx & Technology Project Lead is responsible for driving, coordinating, and executing large-scale technology initiatives within Global Trade Management (GTM), including major system upgrades and strategic deployments.
This role acts as the primary GTM point of contact for cross-functional and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business requirements, timely project delivery, effective change management, and readiness across the GTM function.
This role oversees Global Trade Management, guiding each validation phase to completion while facilitating adoption, training, and transition management. Additionally, it coordinates with corporate IT, legal, SCM and other functions, ensuring all functions are aligned and ready for seamless process integration.
Additionally, this position plays a key role in supporting the definition, strengthening, and deploying the GTM Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement (CI) framework. The role actively supports global CI assessments, execution of improvement projects, process analysis, and the development of future-state proposals to drive efficiency, compliance, and standardization across regions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead GTM participation in large technology projects (e.g., SAP GTS upgrade), ensuring delivery of GTM requirements and alignment with corporate objectives.

2. Act as the primary GTM liaison for IT, Law, compliance, SCM, and other functions, as well as for regional GTM teams throughout every phase of the project.
3. Coordinate end-to-end stakeholder activities, ensuring clear communication, rapid issue resolution, and alignment on milestones.
4. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks to ensure on-time execution according to project management methodologies.
5. Lead GTM testing strategy, including planning, execution, validation, and defect management.
6. Ensure GTM community readiness through training coordination, materials development, and execution of communication plans.
7. Drive organizational change management, including impact assessments, adoption tracking, and readiness reporting.
8. Act as Subject Matter Expert for SAP GTS and other global platforms and work closely with the GTM OpEx and Technology manager to define the technology roadmap
9. Support definition and documentation of future-state GTM processes related to system enhancements.
10. Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure continuous delivery and operational continuity.
11. Analyze project data and performance to prepare status updates and leadership reports. #LI-DG2

Qualifications:

Education level required
Bachelor's degree required.

Years and area of experience required
• 5 to 7 years In Trade Compliance experience. Demonstrated proficiency in HTS, FTA, Export controls, licensing and/or Restricted Party screening regulations and related processes as well as local and regional customs regulations
• 5+ years of experience in GTM systems, technology projects, operational excellence, or process improvement roles.

Technical knowledge
• Experience leading or supporting major system improvements and/or implementations (SAP GTS experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of global trade compliance processes and related systems.
• Strong understanding of GTM global business processes, systems, and Project Management/CI methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Kaizen, VSM, BPIs, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive decisions in a global environment.
• Experience with change management, training programs, and stakeholder engagement.
