Front Desk Administration - 1st Shift
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Front Desk Administration - 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.
The shift hours are 7am - 3:30pm.

What you'll do:
As the first point of contact for our manufacturing facility, the Front Desk Administration person, will play a critical role in representing our brand to clients, vendors, and job applicants. This role balances high-touch customer service with essential administrative support to keep our front office running smoothly.
In this function you will:
Reception & Guest Relations
• Greet all visitors (clients, vendors, and contractors) with a professional and welcoming demeanor
• Manage the visitor sign-in process, ensuring all safety protocols and other documents are signed
• Issue visitor badges and notify internal staff of guest arrivals
Communication Management
• Operate a multi-line phone system; screen and route calls to the appropriate departments (Sales, Engineering, Shipping, etc.)
• Manage the general company email inbox and distribute inquiries
Administrative Support
• Assist with data entry for EHS department
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments (FedEx/UPS)
• Provide clerical support to the HR and Accounting teams as needed (e.g., filing, scanning, or prepping orientation packets)
Facility Coordination
• Assist in coordinating company lunches or on-site events
Qualifications & Skills:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems is a plus
Position Criteria:
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Reliability: Strong punctual habits; the front desk is the heartbeat of our facility and requires consistent coverage.
• Multitasking: The ability to handle a ringing phone while greeting a walk-in guest without losing your cool.
